Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American singer-actress. Her most acclaim was for her role as Layla Grant in the drama series Nashville (2012) as well as Claudia Shepard in Sharknado (2013). She was the lead character Jerrica Jem Benton in the film Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples' parents Wendy & Ashley brought her up at Lake Mary Florida. There is also a younger sister, Ally. Aubrey worked with Orlando Repertory Theatre ten years in her teen years. She graduated Lake Mary Preparatory School, in which she was the valedictory for the class of 2012. Harvard University was willing to accept her. But, she declined the invitation twice. It was the second time that it was because she wanted to play in Nashville. Peeples was a character in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2012) Grey's Anatomy (2005). She was seen in TV films Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective as well as The Good Mother. The actress was cast in the role of a major regular in the second season of the drama series Nashville where she played Layla Grant. Peeples talked about her bipolar condition during an interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples as one of the top gifted actors under the age of 20 in September 2014.
